Baker/Baker Assistant

A Baker, or Pastry Chef, is in charge of preparing baked goods for sale to customers. Their duties include following recipes, ordering ingredients and coordinating baking schedules to produce breads, cakes, pastries, pies, cookies and other goods.


Baker duties and responsibilities

Bakers are often responsible for more than just baking. They may have a large team of employees to manage, or they could be working independently. A successful candidate will be expected to perform the essential duties and responsibilities of a Baker, which can include:

  • Ensure profitability by maintaining an accurate record of baking operations.
  • Manage needed supplies and inventory levels.
  • Direct and supervise the production staff’s activities to make sure that products are up to standards.
  • Decorate baked products using glaze, icing and other toppings to achieve a finished appearance.
  • Assess the quality of raw materials before baking.
  • Conduct research to develop original recipes for products.
  • Ensure the proper storage of baking utensils.

 

Baker skills and qualifications

Should have basic math, technological and practical skills. The right candidate will typically possess time management, communication, organizational and resource management skills. You may find this list of skills to be helpful when writing a job description:

  • Detail-oriented
  • Flexibility to work around customer demand
  • Ability to work with team members to solve problems
  • Good planning skills
  • Ability to lift heavy items for an extended time
  • Ability to read and follow recipes


Part time Crew Member

 

Responsibilities


•Crew Members are responsible for performing the daily operations of the restaurant in accordance with brand 

•Positions are 5:00 pm to designated closing time thought the week and open til close on Saturday and Sunday.*

•Be a punctual, reliable and positive member of a dedicated team, responsible for signing in and out for each shift and arranging coverage for missed shifts when necessary

•Maintain 100% Guest Satisfaction through exceptional service

•Know and adhere to company policies and procedures including but not limited to food safety and cleanliness, product promotions, cash handling, cell phone usage, uniform and attendance

•Responsible for food production and preparation, guest service, store cleanliness and organization; maintenance of all equipment and machines

 

Qualifications

•Applicants must be available to work nights and/or weekends and be at least 15 years of age or older

•We are looking for people who display a positive and enthusiastic personality!

•Desire to be a team member within a growing organization

•Excellent interpersonal skills to provide the highest level of customer service

•Strong communication skills

•A positive attitude; elevated level of integrity; strong work ethic; ability to multi-task

•Basic math: 1 year (Required)
